The Direct Connect feature in NAKIVO Backup & Replication allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to access their clients’ remote resources without using a VPN connection. MSPs can establish a secure connection via a secure port channel to avoid the complexity of setting up and maintaining a VPN.

Proxy Transporter Deployment

The Transporter is one of the three main components of NAKIVO Backup & Replication. It performs backup, replication, recovery and data compression. One Transporter is automatically installed along with another component, the Director, when you download the solution.

Install a Proxy Transporter on the remote environment to establish a secure and direct connection between your master site and the client’s side. Manage components and send data through a custom port without using a VPN.
