Why should I update to the latest version of NAKIVO Backup & Replication?

Updating to the latest version of NAKIVO Backup & Replication enables you to use the newest features and technologies. This means enhanced data protection, reliability, ransomware resilience and data recoverability. Also, the latest version can provide additional compatibility, performance and stability benefits.

How can I renew my license?

To renew your NAKIVO license:

  • Click Contact Sales in the solution’s interface. Alternatively, you can reach out to sales via sales@nakivo.com.
  • After you have purchased a new license, save the .license file in a safe place.
  • Click Change License on the same screen of the web interface of NAKIVO Backup & Replication.
  • Click Browse and select your .license file. Click Apply.

How do I know if my current version is up-to-date?

NAKIVO Backup & Replication automatically checks for updates once each day. If an update is available, you can see a notification in the solution’s web interface. Click the notification link to view information about the update.

Starting from v8.5, a full solution of the NAKIVO Backup & Replication installed on Windows or Linux can be updated automatically.

To manually update any copy of NAKIVO Backup & Replication, go to the solution update page with the installers.
